Can't search with Firefox on Android

When I try to search the F-droid website I can type the name of the app, but it won't actually search.

When I type firefox it shows firefox klar and ffupdater for me.

I only wonder why Fennec is not showing in that list. It prominently features the word Firefox in the description.

Ah, I misunderstood. You are searching with firefox on android, sorry about the confusion.

Can you share the firefox and android versions you are using?

Android version is 5.0 Android security patch level is 2016-10-01 Samsung Note 3 Firefox version 56.0

I was having problems with F-Droid so I thought I would try downloading from Firefox. I was surprised that I could type the search term but could not get it to execute the search.

I just tried it now. It forms a dropdown list as I type the search term. So maybe it was that my connection wasn't fast enough for the dropdown list to be formed. (We've been having some local connection problems lately.) I was expecting to type the term and then hit enter to execute the search.
