Don't show search results until the user starts typing

Perhaps we can also show a transparent background when this mode is entered, giving users the sense that they are still on the same page. Let's discuss how this would work with animating the FAB button https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroidclient/issues/868

I have no experience in apps or design but I think it would look cool if the status bar had the same transparency as the background you were talking about.
