Changes to onboarding and handbook

  • I thought it's important to have some face time especially with your hiring manager on your first day. The purpose of that call is to welcome the new team member and briefly walk him through his onboarding issue, and of course - making yourself available for any questions as the hiring manager.

  • Added a call that should happen with the buddy - to introduce and explain the flow of things regarding questions and resources for different topics.

  • Added changes to the Getting Started with Git part of the handbook.

  • Added more clarity to diversity value point
