New travel self stay policy suggestion
Encouraging frugality and saving on company expenses, I wanted to introduce a policy where if you have an upcoming business trip on behalf of GitLab, and you have the option (and want to) stay with friends/family instead of a hotel/Airbnb - for saving company expenses, the GitLab will pay $75 back per night saved during that trip.
I had worked at a company that had this policy in place and it worked well.
