I have a content question but any other comments are welcome.

It is decided that everyone needs to install the GDK and have a DO Droplet they keep up to date. But how do we suggest new SE's go through the 3 different installation methods to get comfortable with them?

I see 4 options:

  • Install and uninstall each one on your DO droplet.

  • Install and uninstall each one locally on your laptop

  • Install each one on a VirtualBox VM and throw it away afterward. Then just keep the Omnibus installation on your droplet.

  • We expect people to be experienced enough to make their own choice so we don't specify
