Tagging labels in comments

Thank you for all the hard work put into this project and it has helped our team a ton! I have a request of being able to tag and insert labels in comments. A thought on how this could work, similar to the "@" command or the "#" command.

Hi @ndeyoung I believe there is already support for what you're trying to do. You can render labels in a comment by using a tilde - for example ~API will render the 'API' label - ~API

@ndeyoung Hello, please don't use the @ all tag. This creates a lot of noise in everybodies inbox.

Regarding your request:
We don't use the issue tracker for feature requests. Things that are wrong but are not a regression compared to older versions of GitLab are considered feature requests and not issues. Please use the feature request forum for this purpose or create a merge request implementing this feature. Have a look at the contribution guidelines for more information.
