Project import from GitHub, issues are in the wrong order

(I searched through open and closed issues and did not find any similar issue)
I imported a GitHub project on my company's GitLab, and the issues were imported in the wrong order: the most recent issues were added first, instead of the oldest ones.
It means their numbers are inverted, which mixes up the links between commits and issues when using 'Fix #' syntax.
Current version is 7.12.0 but it happened 3 months ago so I'm not sure.
Link items together to show that they're related or that one is blocking others.
