If you look at the contributor statistics to GitLab between the dates of February 15 2015 - June 27 2015 you will notice that karen@gitlab.com appears 3 times

My suggestion would be to group on email, but I am not sure what you would use as the display name maybe use name in the GitLab Profile?
Even if this issue is not Fixed, someone should tell Karen to fix her settings =)
Link items together to show that they're related or that one is blocking others.
