Merge Request view causes 100% CPU in firefox

This happens with recent versions of firefox. I'm currently using firefox 30.

When viewing a large merge request (say a few hundred commits), like when the branch needs to be rebased or just a very large merge, firefox becomes unresponsive and eats all of my CPU.

If I disable javascript, it is fine - although that apparently does not fix things for some people.
