This applies to more buttons than just this one.

Doesn't seem to occur on master

Artifacts seem like a different issue as it is still reproducible on master @smcgivern

Interestingly enough, this only happens on EE master

It looks like this was because of a lack of states when a UI fix was made on CE but not observed in EE with the different EE features (file locking).

.btn-grouped was added to the History button in EE because there is a state (when viewing a file directory) whereby the lock button would appear.

It currently looks jumbled up like this:

I think the simplest solution is to make it look like this:
