GitLab.com Deployment, what is the expected HTTP Status Code?

Dear GitLab.com,

During a deployment, it would be handy to know (via the REST API) that this is happening.

What is the expected status code (or response message) during a deployment?

Right now you get a 502. @dblessing is working on having a deploy page for all pages.

The change to have deploy page shown for all pages was just merged. @matthew.wilkinson Unfortunately this does not take a different status code in to account. Nginx does not provide a great way to do this. I will create a new issue to explore this for future.
