Autosave in browser during edit of snippets, etc.
Description
Store current input of snippets, etc. within the browser. w/ I've often accidentally hit browser back (or swiped on mac touchpad) or closed the tab.
Proposal
Autosave the current form input into the browser via session or cookie so upon return to the snippet edit screen your input is there.
Documentation blurb
With Autosave you never lose your work. Accidentally close you tab/window or navigate away from your edit before you saved? Now we'll autosave your content to your browser so upon return to the edit screen you'll be presented with the option to restore your work to continue editing or clear it so as to return to the original.
Overview
What is it? Browser Autosave Why should someone use this feature? To save partially complete work What is the underlying (business) problem? Lost time from accidental navigation away from the page/form holding your input. How do you use this feature? It would have saved me three times now as this mac has a back via swipe feature and I hit it a few times before disabling it entirely.
Use cases
Who is this for? Provide one or more use cases. Myself and anyone using snippets or editors through the web interface. Ability to restore partial unsaved work that would otherwise be lost and needing to rewrite saves time and alieves frustration.
