sidekiq 2.17.0 gitlab [25 of 25 busy]

Hello,

I'm using GitLab 7.4.3 353a9875, and noticed some strange behaviour: activity won't update and i can't create merge requests. First of all, i've thought about hooks. or even sidekiq socket update. but all is fine. gitlab/check command completes without errors.

And only sidekiq looks strange - because even after 'service gitlab reload' it gets 25 of 25.

what do you recommend?

that very strange, cause yesterday i raised up number of sidekiq workers to 75, and today i see that 75 of 75 is busy!

how to debug slow operations? how to determine what blocks background jobs?

We use Gitlab CE in our organization and this has started creating huge problems ever since Gitlab 7.4.3 upgrade. Please release a fix for the same ASAP.

Some more information:

I increased number of workers to 100, and now it comes up to 80 and then releases. but sometimes it get stuck with some work inside and I had to reload gitlab to refresh sidekiq.

Would be really great to know how to determine problem and solve it.

Ok. new information:

updated to 7.5.3 - same problem persists.

also, i raised up number of sidekiq workers to 100.... and sometimes it is stuck on 100 of 100!!!

gitlab is running under rvm by manual installation. db - mariadb

I can say, that this fix doesn't help. if I still set 25 sidekiq workers - sometimes it becomes "25 of 25 busy"
