Fix the iids parameters in the API documentation

Document the correct use of iids parameters in the API

Since the parameter name is really iids[], it should be used consistently across the documentation.

This MR replaces !13269 (closed) which only ran the documentation tests because of the name of the branch (and now the extra specs have been removed, so it's not necessary anymore).
