Large number of vulnerabilities on quay.io

Honest feedback - I find it disconcerting that this is an official GitLab tool, but has so many vulnerabilities reported on quay.io. It seems like bad posture. https://quay.io/repository/gitlab/gitlab-runner-docker-cleanup?tab=tags

seems the quay.io image was uploaded 2 years ago. so vulnerabilities in base os have accumulated.
