Description
In the context of GitLab Pages, there seem to be 2 jobs for one pipeline, deploy
and deploy:pages
. While deploy
has a console output, and thus a way to check the result, deploy:pages
has none. Recently, deploy:pages
had a huge delay (~4/5 hours) and I had no feedback. I tried to re-run the whole job many times without sucess.
Proposal
It would be great to have a feedback on the running of the deploy:pages
job, to prevent re-running jobs.

Documentation blurb
Overview
What is it? Provide feedback on the deploy:pages
job
Why should someone use this feature? To have visibility on one's jobs
What is the underlying (business) problem? No visibility on one's jobs increases the likehood of submitting the same job again and again with no chance of more success
How do you use this feature? Just navigate to the dashboard on the pipelines or jobs page
Use cases
Everybody who uses a job to build and deploy its site to Pages is concerned.
