Private customer-related conversations in a public issue
- We want to have private customer-related conversations in a public issue.
- Often the sales / marketing / customer success teams have ongoing conversations with potential / existing customers. Often we have internal conversations amongst ourselves (GitLab folks), which we do not want to share publicly or with the customer.
- We often have the conversation in Slack, email, Zendesk, Salesforce, Google docs, or in confidential GitLab issues in the sales project, other projects.
- This is okay, but it is not efficient/collaborate/effective if we want to have the conversation with respect to a specific feature proposal that is new or already existing in either the GitLab CE or EE projects.
- One proposal is to use confidential notes or threads. But there might be a better design.
