Restored tab state is incorrect

I just opened up chrome from a cold boot, and went to the previously opened gitter tab. Everything indicates I am in the neovim/neovim room, but gittherHQ/gitter messages, people and activity are showing.

Can you answer a few questions please:

1. Do you see anything in your JavaScript console?
2. Can you let us know what the steps to reproduce were? Did you open Giter then immediately click on neovim in the menu bar and then the room or had Gitter been open for a long time before?

power on, login, start chrome, navigate to restored gitter tab

For me it's a horribly frequent problem with Mozilla Firefox. Additional symptoms (presumably the same underlying bug) include read messages not marked as read.

My typical workaround (YMMV):

1. present the browser contextual menu for the name of the room
2. open the room in a new tab
3. close the bugged tab.

Postscript

Maybe I should try reproducing the symptoms with a less heavily extended Firefox profile, although my gut tells me that Gitter could be enhanced to reduce the likelihood of the issue occurring.
