Updating GitLab Mattermost to 3.9 for GitLab 9.2 release

Mattermost 3.9 has been tested with GitLab SSO with official release on May 16 from https://about.mattermost.com/download/.

Mattermost team is ready to test GitLab 9.2 omnibus RC for both upgrade and new install.

There are no security updates in Mattermost 3.9 affecting Team Edition. Security updates included in Mattermost 3.8 were backported to Mattermost 3.7.5 and 3.6.7, released in GitLab 9.1.3, 9.0.7 and 8.17.6.

Key updates in this release:

  • New integrations directory
  • Spell checker for desktop app
  • Polish language support

Existing team invite links, password reset links and email verification links will be invalidated after upgrading to Mattermost v3.9.0.
