Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
- Open Preferences -> Profiles -> Advanced
- Open the dropdown for selecting the semantic history action
- Select
Open with editor…
orRun command…
What happened: There's no option to combine the two.
What should have happened:
Have the option to use the Open with editor…
magic text recognition with Run command…
I'm trying to write an open in vim command, but I realized I need to just open text files. This is already in iTerm for the editor option, but it would be useful for the command one as well.
I still need to jump through some hoops to make this work, but I think it's possible. I just need to figure out if vim is in the foreground/background in a session to write the appropriate commands, but's for another issue I think.
This was mentioned in is #5543.
