Digest mboxes are never removed
When sending digests, the mailman.app.digests.maybe_send_digest_now()
function creates mbox files in the list's data directory with the following template filename: digest.{0.volume}.{0.next_digest_number}.mmdf
. Such files are never removed, as a results my list's data directory currently contain about 6000 files:
$ ls -1 /var/lib/mailman3/lists/test.example.com/ | wc -l
5890
Is this intentional? If we want to keep the digests, I suggest we use a sub-directory structure to avoid having all files in the same directory, but I think we should just delete them (there's no data in there that can't be reconstructed).
