Project member roles not visible

In 8.7.0-rc2-ee, project member roles are no longer visible in the comments they make on issues and MR's.

Hmm, that's what we're running on GitLab.com and I see them:

Added ~65372 ~14281 frontend labels

I am running uBlock origin. I turned it off but they still did not show. On projects in which I am a member, I can see the roles. They are not visible when logged out. My browser is Chrome 49, OSX 10.11.4.

Managed to reproduce. It happens when you can't edit notes !3618 (merged)

Added regression and removed ~65372 labels
